Hot Springs School District would like to thank you for your interest in job opportunities that are currently available within the district.  Applications remain active until jobs openings have been filled. Hot Springs School District's Personnel Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Beginning April 02, 2012, Hot Springs School District will strictly adhere to an online application process. If you are interested in applying for employment you MUST complete the online application. After careful review of applicants and their qualifications- interviews will be scheduled by the Administrator and/or hiring committee.

If you applied for a position with HSSD prior to April 02, 2012- you will need to go online and reapply.  If you would like to apply for a substitute position then you must apply here.

CERTIFIED POSITIONS:
To ensure consideration for an employment interview, applicant must provide the following documents to complete the application file:  

  • Completed online CERTIFIED application
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Resume
  • Copy of current Arkansas Teaching License or Eligibility for Arkansas teaching license from ADE
  • Copy of Praxis Scores/NTE Scores
  • Copy of OFFICIAL college transcripts
  • Three (3) Professional Reference Forms

Hot Springs School District must obtain three (3) references for each candidate being considered for employment.  Certified applicants should provide information that includes their most recent principal or cooperating teacher, college supervisor’s names, or other educational references deemed appropriate including current telephone numbers and email addresses.  Failure to provide accurate information will result in a delay in the employment process.

CLASSIFIED (NON TEACHING) POSITIONS:
To ensure consideration for an employment interview, applicant must provide the following documents to complete the application file:  

  • Completed online CLASSIFIED application
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Resume
  • Copy of OFFICIAL college transcripts (if applicable) OR Associates Degree OR Parapro Assessment Results (if applying for ParaPro)
  • Three (3) Professional Reference Forms

Classified applicants should provide the names of the three (3) most recent employers including the supervisors’ names, current telephone numbers, and email addresses.  Failure to provide accurate information will result in a delay in the employment process.
