Gardner Yearbooks ~ 2008-2009
Click here for an Order Form in PDF format.

This year will be our last year to have a yearbook for Gardner as a K-5 school.  The yearbook will be hardbound for long lasting durability, include the usual class pages, a feature page for each grade level, and the feature pages for our faculty and staff, clubs, and activity classes as usual.  It will also feature the ZOOM pages (a color insert of the year's most memorable events in areas ranging from pop culture, science discoveries, technology topics, sports, headline news, chart topers, a fun page, and pages for the students to record personal memories from the year).  We will only have 100 copies of the yearbook this year and they will be sold on a FIRST-COME - FIRST-SERVE basis.

The cost this year is $30.00.  This may be paid in full or as a special opportunity this year, a non-refundable deposit of $15.00 may be paid now with the remaining $15.00 due in April, just before the yearbooks arrive in May.  If you wish to order, just send your payment with a note to Mr. Miller in the Technology Department with your child's name and teacher.  (Deadline for payment is December 19th.  We will extend the deadline after Christmas Break if we still have copies available at that time.)

Character Trait-of-the-Month:  “Kindness
Help your child find ways to be kind to others throughout the month. Compassion for others is a trait that everyone needs. When children feel compassion and express it through kindness, they make themselves better people and their world a better place.
Kind, compassionate children:
Recognize and express appreciation for others’ talents and skills.
Put others’ needs before their own wants.
Help others because they want to, not because they have to.
Listen and provide a “shoulder to cry on.”
Show kindness without expecting rewards.
Tell and show others they care.
Share.
Recognize and help those less fortunate than themselves.

NEW TELEPHONE BROADCASTING SYSTEM
This system will enable our Principal, Mrs. Seiz, the district administrators, or the superintendent a way to notify all households and parents by phone within minutes of an emergency or unplanned event that causes early dismissal, school cancellation, or late start day. It is imperative that we have CURRENT contact numbers in our files for your family. If your number changes, please contact our office immediately.
