This is Week Seven

Description of the Lesson:  After discussing the names and functions of the parts of the computer, the students practice their desktop publishing skills to complete a computer parts crossword puzzle.  They learn new skills such as using the Zoom function to enlarge small graphics and inserting an image by using a graphics library.  The pupils are also introduced to the Internet as a source of information about computers.

Materials:  The students will be using Print Artist 15.0 and Internet Explorer.  They will also use a Template titled "Puzzle.sgn".

Today's Lesson:
Students will learn new desktop publishing skills including adding pictures to a document and changing the size of items on the page.  Additionally, the names of computer parts will be discussed.
