Description of the Lesson:  By using their desktop publishing skills, the children uncover the meaning of  a secret coded message.  Proper disk-handling techniques are practiced as they open a file containing a picture of gold treasure, then decorate the scene.  The pupils add more graphic images and apply advanced layout skills to complete their pictures.

Materials:  The students will be using Print Artist 15.0.  They will also use a Template titled "code.sgn" and "gold.sgn".  The students will also be using their 3 1/2 Floppy Disk.
