This is Week Sixteen
Description of the Lesson:
After a brief exploration of the Internet to review sites used during their
last visit, the children will use their desktop publishing skills to
complete eight squares for the computer board game. They will design a
WordArt Title, create a border and add a shadow to WordArt text. Then,
the students will group and align the objects to finish the squares..
Materials: The students will be using
our web browser, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Publisher 2000. They
will also use a Template titled "tech.pub".
Skills Covered will include:

Define the Internet - an international network of
computers connecting schools, government agencies and other
organizations for the purpose of sharing information

Discuss logging onto the computer and the Internet

Define World Wide Web - a large part of teh
Internet where users can access millions of Web pages containing text,
