Students participate in various activities through out the school
year with different NASA representatives from Marshall Space Flight
Center, Johnson Space Center and Washington D.C. Each time the
students experience inquiry-based learning activities that use
skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. |

Other Explorer School events have been held that promoted Langston's
aerospace and environmental theme. Among them were NASA
Exhibits at Open House and Family Nights, documentary premiere
Destinies Crossed, forestry service programs, Centennial of
Flight Program, ABC Affliliate Channel 7 helicopter and weatherman
visit, hot air balloon program,Space Week and Space Day
Celebrations, Johnny Appleseed Program, Earth Day Celebration and
Program, Fifth Grade Graduation and student Space and Sea Camp.
