We are about to begin the process of planning the 2026-2027 school calendar and your feedback is an important part of the conversation. The district is exploring a few options to better balance instructional time, breaks, and opportunities for family time throughout the year.

Join us Thursday, September 11 for the first HSSD Parent Academy of the school year. This will be held at the Welcome Center, located at 702 Main Street, from 9 - 10 am. This month's topic is ParentSquare and best practices for this communication tool.

Scouting America will be hosting events at our various elementary schools over the next two weeks to introduce our students to the fun of scouting.
