The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) nurtures and develops students as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning. The PYP is part of an internationally recognized framework, known for academic rigor, global mindedness, and inquiry-based learning. Daily activities include structured play, collaborative activities in small groups, Pre-K RISE Curriculum, and practice of essential skills including critical thinking, listening, and communicating. Weekly enrichment classes are provided in Music, Art, PE, and more. The Park PYP Pre-K is set apart as one of the only IB Pre-K Programs in Arkansas.
By developing the attributes of the IB learner profile, students also learn how to demonstrate respect for themselves and others, developing international-mindedness by working with others for a shared purpose and taking positive action for change.
